Ordered two pastries and four tamales, OMG all so good! so glad I moved down the street.

I used to go all the way to McHenry for their conchas. This was before this location and even before knowing they had opened one up in Elgin. Had even told the lady in McHenry once that I wished they were closer. I was excited when I found out I can drive 15mins max instead of 35mins+. Their bread is the best. Especially their conchas. Always try going to get some whenever I can. This is my go to spot.

Absolutely amazing. And so delicious! Wasn't too heavy and wasnt too sweet...just the way we like it. My kids loved it! Price was reasonable and the service was absolutely amazing. You won't regret getting a cake from them at all

Ordered over the phone a paw patrol cake for my little 3 year old brother birthday. They said that it would be 40 dolars for a cake for 14 people plus 9 to print a picture on it. When we finally got it the day of the party we received yellow discolored mini cake that was for 8 people at best. Yellow literally has nothing to do with the show, I guess they just added it to hide their horrible overpriced print. We called over the phone for a refund or at least to make it look better and they told us to come to the store and when we got there they just told me to my face that it was big enough, that I was wrong, and that I could leave there but they wouldnt give me anything back. They just made me come back to waste my time. I got over charged 50 dollars for a ugly cake that Walmart sells for 15 dollars and actually looks good. Would never buy from them again, just buy from Walmart.

Del Carmen Mexican Bakery in Elgin is a true local treasure for those with a sweet tooth and appreciation for pan dulce. Their Mexican bread is always fresh, and their conchas are some of the best I’ve ever I’ve ever had. You can truly taste the quality and care in every bite. One thing that sets them apart is their ability to accommodate custom orders, which is perfect for special occasions. We recently ordered custom conchas for a family gathering.
